Bottas leads Mercedes 1-2 in first Mexico GP practice

Mexican Grand Prix – Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas has set the fastest time in opening practice ahead of the Mexican GP. The Finn set a time of 1:18.341 which was just 0.076 faster than second placed man and teammate Lewis Hamilton. The Red Bull's came third and fourth with Max Verstappen just over a tenth behind the pacesetter, and home hero Sergio Perez a further tenth behind.  Click here go view the full results from Free Practice One When the lights at the end of the pitlane went green, the track was immediately populated by drivers as they were keen to get some mileage in.
