Ecclestone on Hamilton's knighthood: 'They just earn a lot of money'
Last Wednesday Lewis Hamilton was knighted at Windsor Castle in London. Bernie Ecclestone comments on the new honorary title of the British driver. He does not think that the Briton has done anything special. The former F1 boss does not think Hamilton's performance is enough to deserve such a title, despite his seven world titles. "I don't think they have knighted many people, because this knighthood has existed for many years for people who have done something for the country", he told Germany's RTL.
