Rosberg beats Hamilton… to Extreme E title
Nico Rosberg and his Rosberg X Racing drivers are celebrating winning the inaugural Extreme E title, pipping Lewis Hamilton's X44 team to the trophy. The end of the Extreme E had a couple of similarities to how Formula 1 played out in 2021, with RXR and X44 heading into the finale with the chance of winning the title. Hamilton's X44 drivers, Dakar regular Cristina Gutierrez and nine-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb took victory in the Jurassic X-Prix in Dorset, which put the two title-challenging teams level on points once they got past the finish line.
