Teams struggle with porpoising, McLaren seems to have found breakthrough
It was one of the topics of conversation in Barcelona, the jumping up of the car at high speed. 'Porpoising' it is called, and it means that the car jumps up and down when there is a lot of pressure on the car. Almost all teams suffer from it, while two teams seem to have found a solution. On the first day of testing all the teams still seemed to suffer from bouncing on the straights, the two days that followed showed a clear difference between the cars on the straights.
