Alpine and Ocon enjoy 'best day of F1 preseason testing'
Pink was the lucky colour for the Alpine F1 Team on Friday as Esteban Ocon enjoyed what he and the team hailed as their best day of 2022 Formula 1 preseason testing. It was a double-take moment when the ‘Pink Panther' drove onto the pitlane resembling the Racing Point cars of 2020. By the end of the day, Ocon had amassed the second most mileage on a busy day at Sakhir, setting the fifth-best time of the day The French team reported that the Ocon’s morning programme ran smoothly in scorching hot temperatures. In the afternoon, despite a precautionary stoppage on track towards the evening, no issues were discovered and he went on to complete 111 laps in total. Ocon said in the team...
