Update | Albon disqualified by FIA after fuel sample infringement
Alexander Albon is in danger of being dropped from qualifying. At the end of the session there was not enough fuel in his tank to take a fuel sample from it, and so he too must report to the stewards. Albon risks disqualification The Williams driver qualified in sixteenth place, but may not be allowed to start from that spot. Towards the end of Q1, he stalled after being told by his team to park his car. The reason behind this was not shared, but it seems that the team made a miscalculation with the remaining fuel in the tank.
