AlphaTauri ‘don’t need to find much’ to fight rivals
Pierre Gasly has said AlphaTauri 'don't need to find much' before they are ready to fight their rivals after a tough start to the season. Three races down and Gasly and his team-mate Yuki Tsunoda have a combined 10 points having suffered from similar reliability issues as sister team Red Bull. These reliability issues mean the team find themselves in eighth with only Williams and Aston Martin behind them. Not only that but they already have more than half as many points as Alpine and McLaren, who the AlphaTarui bosses would have been targeting before the start of the season.
