Veekay made predictive statement: 'That time we won the race'
Rinus 'VeeKay' van Kalmthout has secured the second pole position of his IndyCar career. The 21-year old Dutchman set the fastest time at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama and can therefore start the race from the best starting position. Veekay stated in a reaction that he is very happy with the good result. "I knew the potential was there, but still it went better than expected," Veekay explained in an official press release after qualifying.
