Norris and Ricciardo receive apology after Canadian GP

Article To news overview © XPB McLaren Team Principal Andreas Seidl has offered drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo an apology after the pair finished outside of the points at the Canadian Grand Prix. The pair started P9 (Ricciardo) and P14 (Norris) after a wet qualifying session, but both lost ground on Sunday, with Seidl admitting that the team's rivals "did a better job" than they had. McLaren's most frustrated moment came during the pit-stops, when an attempt to double-stack backfired on them, but it was one of many issues encountered by the Woking-based squad over the weekend.
