Kubica to get back behind the wheel at the French GP
Article To news overview © Alfa Romeo Robert Kubica will return to an F1 cockpit at this weekend's French Grand Prix, with Alfa Romeo giving him another run in first practice. Kubica, the team's dedicated test and reserve driver, previously sampled the C42 during FP1 at the Spanish GP, replacing rookie Zhou Guanyu. However, for the opening 60-minute session at the Circuit Paul Ricard, the one-time Grand Prix winner will take over Valtteri Bottas' car. Kubica is not the only change to the Friday line-up in France, with Nyck de Vries getting a 'young driver' outing in Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes.
