Audi reveals: 'Have started development of our engine for 2026'

Audi is incredibly excited about its Formula 1 entry. At the end of August, the German brand announced that it will definitely participate as an engine manufacturer in the king class of motorsport, and a press conference was called in Madrid on Monday where Adam Baker, CEO of Audi Formula Racing, explained more about his organisation's plans. Article continues under ad Audi confirmed a few months ago that it will join as an engine supplier, but the plan is also to set up its own team. They are reportedly going to take over an existing team, so that the knowledge on how to build a Formula 1 car is immediately at hand.
