Wolff linked with shock move to Williams

After ending the 2021 season in eighth place, following a second half of the season that saw point scoring performances from both Nicholas Lafifi and George Russell, it was hoped that Williams would be able to carry their momentum in 2022.  Unfortunately for the team, the teams that the beat in 2021, Haas and Alfa Romeo, improved significantly under the new regulations, going on to finish eighth and sixth respectively. Nicholas Latifi will be replaced by Logan Sargeant for next season, such were his poor performances, while Alex Albon impressed but has so far been unable to fill the shoes of George Russell.
