McLaren names 2023 car to reflect 60th anniversary
McLaren has veered away from its conventional naming strategy by announcing the name of the 2023 Formula 1 car as the MCL60. The MCL60 name reflects the team’s 60th anniversary of its foundation, and deviates from its usual numbering system, having raced with the MCL36 in 2022.
