FIA investigating dangerous end to Azerbaijan GP
Article To news overview The FIA has confirmed that it is investigating the pit lane incident on the final lap of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, when Esteban Ocon nearly ran over several officials and photographers pitting on the last lap. The Alpine driver nearly went the full Grand Prix distance on one set of Hard tyres after starting from the pit lane, but had to pit on the final lap to meet the rules of using two different dry compounds in a race. However as he entered the pits, preparations for the end-of-race celebrations was already taking place with the barrier about to be put up by officials and photographers standing in the fast lane.
