Verstappen surges clear as Leclerc shunts in second Miami practice
Max Verstappen held a convincing advantage over the rest of the F1 field while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc crashed in second practice at the Miami Grand Prix. Despite reporting issues with his headrest, two-time world champion Verstappen set a new benchmark during the soft tyre runs in FP2 to end up 0.386s clear of the Ferrari pair headed by Carlos Sainz.
