Fernando Alonso threatens Sergio Perez over the radio

Fernando Alonso came agonisingly close to his first pole position since the 2012 German Grand Prix, with the Spaniard having claimed second on the grid for Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix. With reigning World Champion Max Verstappen having been slower than Alonso through the first two sectors, it was looking for all the world like the Aston Martin driver was going to claim pole at the Circuit de Monaco. Verstappen though, performed the most sensational final sector, with him having found the three tenths he required to claim pole. It was nevertheless a remarkable effort from Alonso once again, who could lead into the first corner should he make a better start than Verstappen. Want to work in...
