Alonso blasts F1 mid-season tyre construction change
Fernando Alonso has criticised Pirelli’s decision to introduce a new construction of tyres for the remainder of the 2023 season. Formula 1’s official tyre supplier pushed ahead with its plans to unveil more robust tyre compounds at the British Grand Prix in order to counteract the ever-increasing downforce and speeds of the 2023 cars.
