Schumacher switches to WEC, but retains Mercedes F1 role

Mick Schumacher will race in Alpine's Hypercar team in the 2024 World Endurance Championship season, but the German driver will retain his links to Mercedes F1 team as he will continue to work as their reserve driver next year. Alpine will participate in the 2024 World Endurance Championship with two Hypercars with three drivers Nicolas Lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere and Charles Milesi have been already confirmed. The French outfit has now revealed that Paul-Loup Chatin, Ferdinand Habsburg and Mick Schumacher will complete their line-up.
