McLaren hands Dunne second FP1 outing at Monza

McLaren has announced that their promising young talent, Alex Dunne, will take the wheel of the MCL39 for his second Formula 1 FP1 session of the season at the Italian Grand Prix this weekend. The 19-year-old Irish driver, a key member of McLaren’s development program, will replace Lando Norris during Friday’s opening practice at the historic Monza circuit. Dunne’s first FP1 appearance came earlier this season in Austria, where he impressed the paddock by setting the fourth fastest, just 0.069 seconds behind teammate Oscar Piastri.
