Alonso claims ‘20 points lost’ in 2025 after Monza DNF

Fernando Alonso’s Italian Grand Prix ended in bitter disappointment when the Aston Martin driver suffered at Monza his fourth retirement of the season. The two-time world champion was cruising toward a solid points finish at the Temple of Speed, only for a bizarre front-right suspension failure to send him limping back to the pits on lap 25 of 53.
