Alonso: We have all the ingredients to win

After a torrid first test at Jerez in early February, the new McLaren-Honda partnership enjoyed the best day of their new era on day two of testing in barcelona with Fernando Alonso at the wheel. He did 59 laps in the MP4-30 and set a lap time within a second and a half of the best time set on the day, prompting some very positive sound bites from the Spaniard. “I am excited about this project. I went to Japan last week and saw the facilities and the resources – I don’t know how long it is going to take, but we will win,” Alonso decalred to media.
