FIA investigating Alonso crash

The FIA's Charlie Whiting, has confirmed that the sport's governing body is investigating the circumstances surrounding Fernando Alonso's test crash. Weeks after the Spaniard's crash on the final day of the second pre-season test, we are no nearer to knowing exactly what happened, though almost everyone has an opinion. Whilst McLaren claims the MP4-30 was hit by a gust of wind, many believe there is more to the accident, a situation not helped by the Woking outfit's subsequent contradictory comments regarding the driver.
