Hockenheim rules out hosting 2015 German GP
+ Hockenheim has ruled out the possibility of hosting this year’s German Grand Prix. The race, which was originally scheduled to be hosted at the Nurburgring, has been in serious doubt since talks between Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and the circuit’s new owners collapsed. Ecclestone pursued a deal with Hockenheim, which hosted the German GP in 2014 as part of a share agreement with the Nurburgring, but the boss of the circuit confirmed this week that plans to host the race have been abandoned. “We have no more hope that the Formula 1 race takes place here [this year],' Georg Seiler told German newspaper Bild. “We have in recent years done everything to please the fans.
