Daniel Ricciardo: “We’ve always gone pretty well in the wet”

The Infiniti Red Bull Racing team put their off-track rows with engine suppliers Renault behind them to post an impressive qualifying effort in Malaysia, with Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat setting the fourth and fifth fastest time in the wet of Sepang. Ricciardo was happy to qualify fourth in Sepang, taking advantage of the wet conditions, and is hoping to finish inside the top four on Sunday in a car he says is improved since the season opener in Australia. “We’ve always gone pretty well in the wet and there are still some things we can improve, but fourth is a good result for the team,” said Ricciardo. “The second row is a good starting position and we should hopefully have...
