Spectator arrested after running across track during FP2

A spectator who ran across the Shanghai International Circuit pit straight during second practice for the Chinese Grand Prix has been arrested. The man climbed over the catch-fencing and Armco barrier, sprinted across the track between two cars and jumped over the pit wall. He then entered the Ferrari garage, where he was apprehended by security guards and was arrested by police. The Press Association reports that the fan wanted to try out one of the cars, adding that the FIA is investigating the incident alongside the promoters and circuit officials.
