Hamilton contract delay not down to #1 status bid

Toto Wolff insists the reason behind Lewis Hamilton's delay in putting pen to paper on a new Mercedes contract is down to 'details' and not over an argument about whether he would be granted #1 status in the team. The defending champion and current points' leader has repeatedly dismissed assertions that there is a fundamental reason stopping him from confirming a new deal with Mercedes, maintaining he is in no rush to sort it.
