Sainz under investigation after P9 finish
Carlos Sainz is under investigation for his last lap overtake on Daniil Kvyat. The race stewards have revealed that Carlos Sainz is under investigation for the nature of his overtake on Daniil Kvyat on the the final lap. Heading into the first corner for the final time, Kvyat made life difficult for the passing Sainz by sticking to the inside, resulting in Sainz staying on the outside. Leaving the limits of the track, Sainz took the position and came home in 9th place. He is now under investigation. Sainz started the race from 5th place, but spent a lot of the race struggling and being overtaken due to Toro Rosso appearing to run too much downforce. While qualifying went well for both...
