Ex-Mercedes chief Bell joins Manor
– Former Mercedes Technical Director Bob Bell has joined Manor Marussia as a Technical Consultant, the squad announced ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix.Bell entered Formula 1 with McLaren in the early 1980s, and went on to hold roles with Benetton, Jordan and Renault, where he acted as Technical Director for two world titles.Bell then moved to Mercedes for the 2011 season, before resigning at the end of 2013, and officially departing late last year.Manor has also signed Luca Furbatto, formerly Chief Designer at Toro Rosso, in the role of Head of Design, and ex-Caterham and Toyota employee Gianluca Pisanello in the role of Chief Engineer."We're delighted to welcome Bob, Luca, and...
