Massa left frustrated as reliability issues strike

Felipe Massa says he is hopeful he can make up ground in the Canadian Grand Prix from the latter half of the grid after being struck by reliability issues on his Williams. The Brazilian was dumped out of Q1 after an issue charging the battery left him down on power around one of the highest-speed circuits on the F1 calendar. Though he will gain positions as a result of penalties ahead, Massa believes it will still be difficult to make up ground even though he is the only non-Mercedes powered car to be starting outside the top ten. “These things happen,” he said. “When it is a technical problem, you can't do anything. We change what we can change and tomorrow is another day....
