Red Bull Ring FP2: Vettel and Ferrari stump Mercedes

Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari bounced back from a problematic morning session to top the timing sheets at the end of the first day of the Austrian Grand Prix weekend, and with it the Maranello outfit have thrown down the gauntlet to Mercedes. In FP1 Vettel was sidelined after just four laps, with a transmission problem but in FP2 bounced back and powered around the Red Bull Ring in a best time of 1:09.600. A mere hundredth of a second down on the best time was Nico Rosberg, fastest of the Mercedes pair all day, with Lewis Hamilton only managing the fifth best time.
