Hamilton storms to Austrian GP pole despite late spin

Lewis Hamilton has managed to secure pole position for the Austrian Grand Prix, despite a late spin for himself and team-mate Nico Rosberg during the latter stages of the top ten shootout. The German will start the race alongside Hamilton on the front-row of the grid, whilst the second row will consist of Sebastian Vettel and Felipe Massa. After the wet conclusion to the third and final practice session, it was a damp start to the all-important qualifying hour around the Red Bull Ring. As the opening segment of the session wore on the track conditions greatly improved, allowing everyone to switch to the dry soft and super-soft tyres.
