Raikkonen: F1 needs more danger and excitement

Ferrari ace Kimi Raikkonen says that F1 needed more danger and excitement and his words came back to haunt him in Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix. Opening lap, Turn 2, the Finn lost control of his Ferrari and turned left across the track, catching Alonso and locking the McLaren against the barrier at high speed. Alonso said following the race incident as “very strange” but Raikkonen said in a television interview that the sport needed livening up. 'We must do something to make watching F1 more exciting, to appreciate the speed and to make it a little more dangerous.
