Mercedes reprimanded for covering car
– Mercedes has escaped serious punishment for covering Nico Rosberg's car after his first practice stoppage, with stewards opting to reprimand the team.Rosberg's car, which stopped amid hydraulic trouble, arrived back in the paddock on a flat bed truck, and mechanics proceeded to cover it with sheeting.The FIA's Jo Bauer later referred the matter to the stewards, arguing that the team breached Article 27.4 of the Sporting Regulations, as there was no mechanical reason.After assessing footage of the incident, the stewarding panel has chosen to give the team a reprimand."The team covered car 6 after the car was returned to the paddock in P1 in breach of article 27.4," read a...
