Maximum result places Bottas on row three
Valterri Bottas says sixth on the grid represented the maximum he could achieve in the Williams during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, but is more optimistic of keeping up with Red Bull and Ferrari in the race. Having locked out the second row last time out at Silverstone, Williams face a task to get onto the podium in Hungary after Bottas placed sixth and Felipe Massa could manage no better than eighth. Indeed, Bottas admits the high downforce Hungaroring was always unlikely to play to the Williams' strengths, but feels there is more to come from the package in race conditions. “It was maximum of what we could do.
