Mercedes Practice report: Dramatic start to Belgian GP
Dramatic start to Belgian Grand Prix weekend in Spa Nico topped the times in both practice sessions with Lewis finishing second in each The morning session saw Nico confined to the garage during early running with an engine problem, recovering to take top spot In the afternoon session, a tyre failure for Nico then ruled him out of the final third of running The team will work with Pirelli to determine the cause of this failure this evening Both cars ran the prime (medium) tyre in P1, the prime and option (soft) compound in P2 Nico Rosberg
