McLaren intends to keep Button for 2016 – Boullier

McLaren racing director Eric Boullier says the team 'intends' to keep its current driver line-up of Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button for 2016. Alonso has a three-year deal with the Woking-based outfit, while Button has an option for the next Formula 1 season. 2014 racer and current reserve driver Kevin Magnussen is waiting for his chance to return to competing for McLaren, while GP2 championship leader Stoffel Vandoorne is also an option. Speaking in Friday's FIA press conference, Boullier said the team is looking to retain its current driver line-up for 2016, although no final decision has been made.
