Jordan: VW close to Red Bull buyout

Volkswagen look set to complete a buy-out deal of the Red Bull Racing team, according to former team owner and BBC pundit Eddie Jordan. The car manufacturing giant has been linked with the sport for several years, but efforts to join have repeatedly been blocked by group chairman Ferdinand Piech. However, he left his position earlier in the year, which appears to have paved the way for VW to become a manufacturer in Formula One.
