Manor drivers set for grid penalties
– Manor Marussia drivers Will Stevens and Alexander Rossi are set to take grid penalties at the Singapore Grand Prix, after switching to new gearboxes.Both men crashed out during Friday practice, Rossi hitting the wall at Turn 18 at the end of FP1, and Stevens sliding into the barriers at Turn 11 in FP2.Manor subsequenly changed the gearboxes in their cars, which had not yet reached the required six rounds, thus resulting in five-place penalties for the pair.While recent Formula 1 grids have been affected by a string of engine-related penalties, no other drivers are expected to take grid drops this weekend.
