Honda investigating Alonso engine issue
– Honda says it is still investigating a power unit issue which affected Fernando Alonso's running during practice for the Japanese Grand Prix.McLaren mechanics had to change Alonso's ICE [Internal Combustion Engine] when a problem was detected following first practice at Suzuka, restricting his running during the early stages of the second session.Honda believes that the issue was fuel-related, but is conducting further investigations in order confirm the problem.Alonso and team-mate Jenson Button were both forced out of the Singapore Grand Prix due to gearbox related problems and McLaren trialled tweaks during practice in a bid to solve the issue."We ran some reliability tests...
