WMSC issues revised 2016 calendar
– The FIA's World Motor Sport Council has issued a revised calendar for the 2016 Formula 1 season, which features a number of alterations from the provisional version, published back in July.As announced by organisers earlier on Wednesday, the Australian Grand Prix has been moved forward to March 20, with the following races in China, Bahrain and Russia now all standalone events.Azerbaijan, the new host of the European Grand Prix, has been moved forward to June 19, and is now twinned with Canada, meaning it will clash with the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.Further back-to-backs follow with Austria and Britain, the latter pushed back by two weeks, and Hungary and Germany at the end...
