Formula 1 has ‘too much practice’ – Hulkenberg
Nico Hulkenberg believes that the current weekend format in Formula 1 allows too much time to practice, and feels that the schedule could be shortened. As it stands, there are two ninety-minute sessions on a Friday, with a further hour of practice on Saturday’s ahead of the qualifying session, but the Sahara Force India driver reckons Formula 1 could consider a similar format to that seen in the GP2 Series, where drivers only get one session of testing before going into qualifying.
