Massa fastest in rain-hit Sochi practice

Felipe Massa ended a rain-hit second practice session of the Russian Grand Prix weekend at Sochi Autodrom with the fastest time. The Williams Martini Racing driver was only one of eight drivers to set a time during the session, with six drivers deciding not to venture on track at all with the rest of the weekend set to be drier. Massa’s 2m00.458s was enough to see him end the session fastest, with Sebastian Vettel slotting into second position for Scuderia Ferrari, 0.201s back as drivers were forced to run in extremely wet and slippery conditions, including a large amount of standing water.
