Red Bull/Getty Images Third practice for the Russian Grand Prix was brought to an end after 35 minutes following a worrying crash for Toro Rosso driver Carlos Sainz Jr. Sainz’s Toro Rosso came to a rest beneath the barriers on the exit of Turn 13, with tyre marks along the wall on the entry to the corner. Sainz was taken away on a stretcher but gave the thumbs-up as he was loaded into an awaiting ambulance. Nico Rosberg had been fastest in the session prior to the stoppage.
