Force India hopes to sign off upgrade by Mexico

Force India hopes to introduce an aerodynamic upgrade by the Mexican Grand Prix, but will not rush through the new parts. Sergio Perez’s third place in the Russian Grand Prix was the culmination of consistent improvement from Force India since it introduced its B-spec car earlier this season. The team is now working on an upgrade which it hopes to have ready in time for Perez’s home race in Mexico but deputy team principal Bob Fernley warns there is no guarantee it will be used. “It would be wonderful to do so, but the technical team has to be comfortable to deliver before we put it on,” Fernley told F1i. “I think it’s looking like a reasonable step.”...
