Esteban Gutierrez Confirmed for Haas – A solid choice?

Mexican driver Esteban Gutierrez has been confirmed to be joining Romain Grosjean at the new Haas Formula 1 team for the 2016 Season. Esteban previously drove for Sauber in 2013 and 2014 and has been a Test Driver for Ferrari during the current season. Esteban was really a very solid choice for Haas. He has the F1 experience that Haas valued, as well as very close ties with partner Ferrari, with great technical knowledge. Also coming from North America, Gutierrez finds himself very marketable for the American team and will also likely bring with him a hefty sum of Mexican sponsorship money.
