Bottas penalised for red flag incident

– Valtteri Bottas has been given a three-place grid penalty for the Brazilian Grand Prix after a red flag regulation breach during Friday practice at Interlagos.Williams driver Bottas overtook Sauber's Felipe Nasr between Turns 5 and 6 in second practice, which had been halted due to Fernando Alonso's stoppage.After speaking to Bottas, the stewarding panel determined that the Finn could have done more to avoid overtaking Nasr while the red flags were being shown."The driver of car 77 [Bottas] admitted he overtook car 12 [Nasr] under red flags," read a statement."The stewards in applying the penalty took into consideration that despite the considerable speed difference...
