Verstappen: I should've been closer to pole

Singapore Grand Prix – Max Verstappen believes that continuing power unit difficulties denied him the chance of improving his lap time on his second Q3 run. The Red Bull driver claimed a surprise front row result during qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix, falling three tenths of a second shy of Lewis Hamilton's time. The Dutchman had been plagued by power unit troubles throughout the weekend, and was heard saying over the radio that his car felt like it was 'engine braking' during practice. These issues were thought to be over for qualifying, but the 20-year-old said that further engine issues meant he was denied the opportunity to beat his lap time on his second Q3 run....
