Hamilton: Time to change grand prix weekend format

As Formula 1 enters a brave new world of modern media amid an ongoing shake-up of the sport in this Liberty Media era, with this in mind World Champion Lewis Hamilton is calling for wholesale changes to the race weekend format in particular. Speaking after his commanding victory at Suzuka, Hamilton ventured, 'I think one of the biggest changes that need to be made is that at the moment it is the same four days, every weekend, for 21 weekends every single year pretty much.'
