Sauber tester Tatiana Calderon to get first F1 run in Mexico

Sauber test driver Tatiana Calderon is set to receive her first taste of Formula 1 machinery during a filming day next week. Sauber is staying on at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez for a day of tyre testing in association with Pirelli, though Calderon’s outing will be part of a filming day that will be run in parallel. Drivers are restricted to 100km worth of running on Pirelli’s promotional tyres, with teams permitted two filming days per year. Calderon, 25, joined Sauber as its development driver last year and stepped up to the role of test driver for 2018.
