Grosjean's disqualification appeal from Monza has failed

The Haas F1 Team's appeal against the disqualification of Romain Grosjean from the Italian Grand Prix in September has failed, with judges upholding the initial decision to disqualify. After finishing P6 at Monza in early September, Romain Grosjean's Haas was found to be in contravention of the regulations, namely that of the radius of 50 mm (+/-2 mm) which must apply to each front corner of the reference plane. This was not the case on Grosjean's car and, following a protest from the Renault team, the FIA Technical Delegate examined the car and found it to be in breach, leading to the stewards disqualifying Grosjean.
